Yes, I do not understand this at all. I mean, Harry Truman's popularity plunged to a mere 20%, yet on his worst day, Truman was a FAR superior president to Bush on his best.
I think a big portion of the country will stand behind the president no matter how big the lies he tells are, or how incompetently he mismanages the affairs of state, because they believe he has the ever loving light of Jesus shining through his baby blue eyes, and can therefore do no wrong.

What are you talking about. I figured it out early on his first term. His approval rating has been in the 30% range for most of his second term. It seems like their are alot of Republicans supporting him, because you're on the net with me and get baraged by NeoCons. They make up a very small percent of the population. They, for some reason have a lot of time on their hands. THey probably work for the government and sitting in the office all day playing on the internet.

It isn't a matter of NOT realizing mistakes but moreso a matter of hiding the awful truth! They lie and deceive the public and sometimes confuse themselves with the public they lie and confuse! Those in the 28% are the lemmings and sheep.

Perhaps for the same reason why we are still waiting for Democrats to wake up to the lies of their own party.
