You might want to write about a specific thing such as the Skookum cast or the Patterson / Gimlin film since there is plenty of stuff you could write about each. I personally like the Patterson film even though it is very old. I have visited the site of the film on a number of occasions hoping to see or film one myself. The film was made by Roger Patterson while he was looking for tracks that he could film for a movie. The rode their horses around a bend and Patty (as she is nicknamed) stood up, and scared the horses. Since Patterson was a rodeo cowboy, he was able to fall and grab his movie camera out of the saddle bag. He took a film of less than a minute that shows a large female bigfoot walking away. It has been calculated using her foot for a scale (it was 14.5 inches long) that she was about 6.5 feet tall though since she didn't walk completely straight she was only about 6 feet tall while walking. Her muscles are clearly visible in the film. Her feet have been enhanced and the enhancements show that it fits the tracks perfectly. The tracks are some of the best ever found and numerous casts were made. A man named Titmus, a tracker taxidermist visited the site a couple days later and followed them and he was quite confident they were real. The tracks were deeper than the horse prints even though the foot was bigger. Through recent enhancements not generally known to the public, the film is even more instructive than before. Scientists and skeptics will never believe it, but the truth is, there are bigfoot roaming the US, and Roger Patterson managed to film one. By the way, bigfoot are probably not closely related to Yeti or gorillas. There is a nearly identicle animal found in China in the far western province known as the Yeren. Look on bigfootforums.com or bfro.net for recent findings. Keep skeptical and good luck.

I know I DID see it in 1978. I lived in Flomaton, Alabama. It was a Friday night and I stayed up to watch a program called "In Concert". When this huge big hairy thing walked past our picture window!!! It scared me so bad I left my little sister asleep on the floor and ran to my parents room. That same night it was seen in Brewton, Alabama, by about another dozen people. It made the evening news. Bigfoot in Alabama is called the Alabama Booger. In the Florida Everglades it is called Skunk Ape. Although there are more then 100 names it is called, especially by the Native American Community. Plus there are other such creatures seen in other parts of the world. It is there and it has been smart enough to avoid our catching it.

I would not write rubbish, why would I ? I am a writer.
I know somebody who says he is a big foot, he likes that so much that sometimes he puts it in his big mouth, big food!
Well, seriously and as far as I know, Bigfoot is a rare Mountain Gorilla, nearly extinct. I would conduct my research before I write about it. It has been seen in Tibet, Bhutan, where it is called the Yeti, by the monks.
Good luck.
