help on project?

i have a project that im struggling on: i have to research machines and items that have become obsolete and why. can u ppl that answer this come up with at least 5?

Answer 1

1. The Typewriter- thanks to the computer
2. 8 -Track tape players - The cassette was better
3. VHS player/recorders (or very soon will be!) because of dvd's
4.The Penny-farthing bicycle! too awkward
5.Hot-metal news presses, again due to computer typesetting
