just tell him you only think of him as a friend in the nicest way possible...thats really weird were you guys ever going out to lead him sooooo way off your realtionship with each other

I know everyone is afraid of rejection.So tell him u have a 'friend' and a guy proposed to her. your friend does not like him but does not know how to put it. Ask him how should she put it in order not to hurt the guy's feelings. And follow the way ur friend told u coz hez also a man so he should also feel tat way. well i may not be right......

Tell him how he means alot to you, but you aren't ready for something like that, and you just don't feel that kind of love for him. But try to say it as easy and sweet as you can, and tell him you want to always be friends with him, don't let him think you don't even want to be his friend anymore. Just keep it real and tell the truth, if he's a true friend he'll understand and accept it. =] I hope I helped!
