Nah... I was the verbal thorn in the teacher's ear. I think that's why I am a teacher now... karma has it's way of coming round and sitting on the doorstep to teach those lessons we need to learn. Karmic retribution is a very patient entity.... and I remind myself of that everyday. Now that I AM the teacher, I pick them all as favourites... just find the reason to fit the kid.

yes, to my 6th and 7th grade science teacher, cuz i was the only good kid in both grades. i always got to get outta class to give stuff to other teachers or get her stuff for science projects or grade papers or get on the good computer. it was so fun being teachers pet. but she took a year off this year. it made me sad cuz she was a cool teacher, not cuz i was teachers pet but cuz she would never yell at anyone, and i intended on spending p.e. (my least favorite class) chilling in her room. oh yeah, and last year during teacher appreciation week, everyone knows she liked me and my friend's card the best cuz we made it ourselves outta notebook paper and crayons in the 3 minutes before the first bell rang on the last day of that week and what it said was so funny and she read it to the whole class (while we had our heads buried in out arms cuz we were laughing so hard from embarrassment) but she didnt read the other kids cards, that they bought at stores, to us :)

Obisdian, what a great avatar and name.
Oh, yeah, not until college. I was teacher's pet in my algebra class. The whole class knew it, but no one cared because in math, you either know it, or you don't.

Ugh, no. My sister was. It was annoying. She'd like, suck me into these stupid attempts to please the stupid teachers. She knew all of their birthdays, she gave them presents and baked them cookies n' krud, decorated their classrooms, ate lunch with them, came early to school to visit them....EVERYTHING!!! The good news was that we're opposite enough so people had no idea we're related. It was obnoxious.
