Lets not elect someone just because they are White, Black, Man, Woman, Rich, or member of a wierd church. We are at war and need a proven leader who understands the world around him/her. Who can guide us through war , and lead us in peace. Who can heal the wounds of the past and will not be beholden to special interests or religious nutcases. I Nominate Colin Powell and or Condoleeza Rice.

Someone ultimately qualified to lead wouldn't want the job.

I nominate Ben & Jerry.

Any American citizen is considererd to be qualified in our democracy...but it seems to be charisma that gets people elected. Elect someone with an intellect that works to protect the democracy and the citizenry.

No more world domination setups that bring in candidates with no talent except supporting oil cronies, companies and running the country like it's a corporation. Let's have a government that responds to the needs and wants of the people so we can build again.

As much as I would love to see Colin Powell run, but he won't because he doesn't want to put his family through all the crap.

I really like Condi, though. She's probably the smartest person in the entire administration to include President Bush.

Sellouts, the both of them. I nominate Bugs Bunny as Second Emperor of the United States, and Protector of Mexico.

The answer is simple....

When the selection of candidates does not consist of career politicians, lawyers, rich company executives, and the like.

When we have common Americans running for office, you will have not only qualifications, but honest representation.

For now, we're stuck with the likes of Hillary Clinton to vote for. Which turns my stomach.

Including your nominees, there is no such person. The job is too big for anyone, really, and everybody is beholden to some special interests.

Only if they are rich and have enough powerful friends/family to rig the election.

Both of your nominations really suck. neither of those people poses the genius that it would take to lead this nation back to respectability.
