im 80% effaced 2 1/2 cm dialated and my Dr said ill go before my due date he says because by how my cervix feels but i know babys are unpredictable but my Dr has been doing this for 30 years now so i assume he knows his stuff and he's pretty accurate should i trust his opinion is he probably right? and how many of your Dr's said you would go before your due date and then did?

With my second baby ,my Dr. told me on Thursday that I wouldn`t make it through the weekend...I was 38 weeks and was 4 cm. and 80% effaced...I had my son that Sunday!! Good Luck to you!

Well, that isnt entirely true. My friend was told that she was to go before her due date too. However, She oni gave birth 2 days after her due date! Wat more, her doctor is a 65 yr old person wif about 40 yrs of experience.

Hoever, its gud to be cautious. Be ready, incase your would have an early delivery. Not only that, be prepared wif all the things the new born would need. You may also nid to carry them to the hospital if they do not provide these things to you.

heck my doc for my second child told me 3 days before my due date that it should be in the next day or two. She didnt come until 9 days after my due date. yuck.
