A good friend is the one who understands your situation and who cares about your future. A self analysis is very necessary for analysing your friend. U say that your friend knows about your schedule and so if she cares about you she should act according to your schedule. So finally i would like to conclude that a good friend will care about your future. So if u consider your friend as worthwhile you concentrate on both your friend and studies because friends are not going to give u salary. It is the crucial period so i think you will understand. If u think that ur friend is not worthwhile please stop your friendship.Remember your parents have a great dream about you.So act according to it..

I totally understand having a busy schedule in college. I once had a full load of classes in addition to being part of a couple clubs. It was hard to find time for family and friends sometimes.
I think friends are worth taking time. If you haven't chatted or hung out in a while, I'd say go for it. If you hang out everyday but have a big test tomorrow... well, studying is probably better.

Well, if this girl understands your situation, then she should try NOT to take up so much of your time. You two should try to work out a schedule best for you two to hang out, but I'd say your school work comes first. I'm sure neither you nor your parents want to see you flunked, right? Your parents didn't pay the tution for your social life, right? Think twice before hanging out with this friend of yours because your parents have to work hard to pay you through the college, and it's not inexpensive. OK? Good luck.
p.s It's a great chance to learn how to better manage your time. Right?

Who's paying your tuition? That is a really important question, because student loans have to be paid back whether you graduate or not, and it's really hard to do if you're still working at the DQ because you don't have a degree to get a better job.

It's about time management. Hanging out with your friend is like stress relieve for you but you need to set up time for study and time for hanging out.
Your friend should be concerned about your studies as well.

You need to plan your day effectively. You have to fix certain dead lines and set targets for your self. Before doing any thing please check with ur schedule, ur targets ur achievements and deadline to finish it then do it.
Trying being honest to yourself.
