Tell someone to hide the cord, If you hide it, you'll know where it is and will straight back. You have to go through tolerance like someone kicking a nicotine habit. Have someone else, someone trusting, take your stuff and lock it up somewhere. You must have the will power NOT to ask them for the things back until it becomes a want and not a need.

First off, try downloading some sort of time control program that allows you a certain amount of internet time per week. Also, try to make yourself busy. Read a book, take a walk, or do other things during the day. If you have work to do and this internet addiction is interfering with it, I find that listening to music helps me concentrate.
Finally, know that you're not alone, and there are a lot of people who are addicted to the internet- myself possibly included.

One method:
1. Try to plug out all batteries or don't let any voltage go in the laptop for six whole months. After the process, you'll find that you won't go addicted to the laptop because you're used to not going on the laptop.
2. Lend your computer to someone else for six whole months and you'll also find that you are not addicted to the computer. After the process, you'll find that you won't go addicted to the laptop because you're used to not going on the laptop.

To overcome this type of addiction . u must first stop visitin da sites which u daily go through them.
then day by day if u keep on doin da same thing automatically u will be able to decrease this addictiveness.

Leave your adapter in another room so wen your batery goes dead, you have n choice, same situation, I was going to bed 6 hours ago, still on my couch searching nothing and yeah, damn technology
