Liberals always hate the government because they cannot be elected unless they can create an image that something is wrong. Liberals love government. They feel it should reach out and touch and control every aspect of your life. Conservatives see a country full of ppl who want to work hard and earn what they have and they want to trust the ppl.
Libs feel that ppl are too stupid to live their own lives, so they try to legislate every aspect of life for the people.
Liberals believe that everyone NEEDS to be governed and helped. They measure compassion by how many people they can support on welfare.
Conservatives measure compassion by how many people no longer need it.

Of course, most stereotypes are wrong.
And it's even wrong to say democrats want bigger government, since this administration has enlarged the government far more than any other administration, including Clinton's.
The truth is, Bush and his cohorts hate government in general and have been trying to privatize it and dismantle it ever since they got in office.

There's more government spending under the Republicans than by any President in recent years. They're a bunch of hypocrites trying to fool their constituency with propaganda about liberals. Meanwhile, the conservatives are failing at everything their doing lately. But they're asking Democrats for more money to fail again and again...

confused about this question. well i don't like bush. i don't ever vote though because they're all lying and if they aren't who can you believe when they're both sayin the other is lying? it gets too confusing and he said she said for my taste. i just say forget it and don't vote because only God knows who is really bein truthful.
