How long does it take to get a Phd?

I want to be a neuropsycologist... and I was also wondering if it would be worth trying to get a Phd in both psychology and neurology.

Ok... it really depends... if your schooling full time.. it takes about 8 years... if your slow in school such as taking less then about 15 hours a semester it could take you even longer.

Well, for most curriculum it takes about 3.5-4 years to get a BA, which is undergrad work required to get into any MA program. The masters program normally takes about 2 years, and it is a requirment to get into a doctorate program. Phd programs can vary in length depending on the subject, they can range from 2 years to 5. Anything that is medical related is shifted a little bit. Of course all of this will depend on wether you turn intoa crazy slut in college. If this happens you will probably be cookin bacon for a doc worker in a 2 room shanty or a trailer within like 10 months. I hope this does not happen. If you are ugly it probably won't. Come on very few people keep their 9th grader goals all the way through high school and then through college. If you do not have a gpa over 4.0 then you probably cannot cut it. Just be wise, this is hard when you are young, but you will get wiser as you get older... goodness you have not even gone through your crazy hormone induced emo phase yet. Simma dawn naw!
