I've played video games for a while, and I've become a fan of games like final fantasy which have a very long storyline and takes time to beat. I think it has something to do with the fact that it's very entertaining to go through the plot. Can anybody explain to me what category that game would be under, and also specifiy a video game that is similar? I've played Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy XII, what other games are good and long and stuff?

Final Fantasy games are considered to be RPG (Roll Playing Games). However, not all games that are classified as RPGs will play like Final Fantasy. Most of the Zelda games play similiar, and they are very well done. You might also like the Myst games for the computer (Myst, Riven, Uru, Exile, etc.), although they are much, much slower paced games.

those are fantasy RPG's, the ones that has the great storylines are final fantasy VIII nd VII, suikoden 1 and 2, and lunar, breath of fire and others, very great storylines especially suikoden 2, try it,

i think it's RPG
Legend of the Dragoon is HIGHLY similar although it is for PS1 it will work in PS2, it is very fun game to play
