Your computer needs to have a wireless card installed to be capable of that. If its a new Laptop it probably has a card installed from the factory, if not you can install an adapter in the card slot or through a USB. Most desktop PCs dont come with wireless capabilty but you can install a wireless card or a wireless adapter also. If you're setting up wireless at home make sure you have a wireless router too.

Depends on what kind of computer. Desktop or notebook? If it's a desktop most likely you'll be looking for a PCI card slot on your motherboard. If it is a notebook, read the manual, under the technical specifications section it should list somewhere whether it has a internal wireless card or not. Also be sure to check to see if your computer meets the requirements for a wireless card.

As long as your computer is using windows ME or better and has a USB port, you can use wireless.
Your best bet would be to get a wireless card and install it into a PCI slot.
But if you don't feel comfy doing that, you can buy USB wireless devices that you just plug into your USB port and they'll connect you to your wireless router once setup right.

Good Luck!
