I suggest Dumaluan beach resort at Panglao Island, &
then Kota beach resort at Bantayan Island. This resorts have a very affordable, roomy & clean accomodations. (--,)

I am actually heading there for summer. But for you since you're on a honeymoon, you may not like the jampacked people in Bora this Peak Season.
You can try camiguin Islands too, the Island called as The Island of your Paradise and Imagination. It's serene there, and they have what Bora has, White Sand beaches! They also have like what Palawan has, water sports reanging from your types to adventorous ones. And like Palawan you can go for eco-tour there.
And since Camiguin Island is less advertised and populated like other Islands the price is good. In fact cheapest. You cna also enjoy historical-account trip, and many others.
search for Camiguin on the net f u want more info.
As for the place, I recommend The Islet beach resort, 500 pesos for a cottage, aircondition.

There are affordable resorts along Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol. It's not as crowded as Boracay. I guess max spending for a 3D2N stay is around P25K-P30K. Batangas and Puerto Galera are also good places to go to.
But if your budget is lower then I guess you'd look for resorts where you don't need to fly to save on airfare. You didn't say where you'd come from so I can't suggest anything yet.
Just be sure to scout travel agencies to get the best vacation/honeymoon package deals.

For a honeymoon, Boracay definitely. You can check out Bura-akay. It's up in the hills of Diniwid and walking distance to the best beach in the island. They have cottages perfect for honeymoon and breakfast is included. Congratulations!

Hey, go to Romblon, Romblon...
Fare, 700php each the boat for ten hours from Manila, imagine like cruisin´ hehe....
And when you´re there, you can bring your own tent or if you want to rent a cottage, it is very affordable, the food are so nice and fresh and also affordable...
It´s great because the beach is all yours, i mean the privacy...
Talipasak Beach, is the best i can recommend...

i wud suggest DAVAO. the place is steaming with hot places to visit,the city is a destination place! affordable, conveniently located hotels are available all over the city.
Resorts wud depend on ur budget,top of the line is the private PEARL FARM, great hideaway, so romantic! check also the more affordable Paradise Islands- great beaches.. try out Eden resort its within the city limits..romanic and you can have a lot of fun things to do with your mate here.

I would highly recommend Palmas Del Mar in Bacolod on ****** Island. www.palmas-del-mar.com .
It's affordable and nice. Close to the city. Many nice resturants and nightlife there.

i recommend Boracay or Puerto Princesa in Palawan if you can't afford it go to Puerto Gallera in Mindoro.it's cheaper..you can go there by bus from manila to batangas and take a ferry to puerto gallera..been there.it's beautiful and the hotel or cottages are affordable.the prices of food are cheap too..
