That is sooo sweet! But really honestly, i would be a little bit embarrassed to recieve flowers at work the very first day... it's already awkward and new, and if you get flowers in an office, everyone looks at you- uncomfortable!! The best way to do it i think is to pick her up from work, or tell her to meet you at your house after work for a dinner or something to celebrate or whatever, and have a bouquet of flowers for her when she walks in, and then treat her to a dinner you made, or go out to dinner, etc. Just add something special with the flowers, or simply present yourself with them- i'm sure she'll love them no matter how u give em to her!! ♥

I would take her out for a congratulations dinner wait a few weeks for the whole flower thing it is a nice gesture but it may look strange to her co-workers the first day and all.
Good Luck and splurge on some nice wine or bubbly.

yea to much, the first day of a new job is stressful enough. There may be company protocol or just co-worker peer pressures. Id an after work thing instead, and wait for some feedback on sending things to her work.

Put them on her car instead or inside of her car. I wouldn't want to get flowers on my first day! I would be nervous enough! I'd wait and do it in a week, or put them in her car, or better yet, have them waiting for her when she gets home. What a way to end the day! I'd rather receive them at home after a long, nervous day! Good luck in whatever you decide to do! You're a sweetie! <3

Yes! If your trying to send them to her work place on her first day I would re-think it!
Send them to her at home with a message in your words.

Her new employer might frown on the jester. A lot do these days. Send them to her home. Or welcome her home with the flowers and dinner.
