same here. i cant exactly understand wat do u want. if u want sum notes or character sketches, u can go to sparknotes.com or give a search in yahoo or google. basically its a short story with an anti-climax. one of o.henry's masterpieces a typical of his kind, it shows how a person sacrifices for a young girl whom he didnt even know 2 well, going to the extent of risking his life.
