Neither of the first two opinions really answers the question. I want to know what you think he would say about it if he were here to observe Bush's policies in action.

Actually, I think he would disagree with American interference in the region, arguing that it upped the ante, was racist and colonialist and meant to serve the needs of the American military-industrial complex and oil industry. He vehemently opposed American interference in Latin America.
I am not a socialist, more of classical liberal, actually. I nevertheless would wonder what he thought. I like to keep up on things and with the number of young people wearing Che Guevera t-shirts, I wondered what the appeal was.
