Hi, I am from Bangladesh and watched the last nights saga when Bangladesh's green-horned team made fool of India's 'professional' players. No offence taken as this is my honest feedback without any prejudice.
But why I am optimistic about India's win against forthcoming match against Sri Lanka is that I can very well imagine that all the individual players of India would get a good disincentive by the commercial promoters if they fail to reach the Super-8.
So, it is in the personal interest as well as for survival of these individual greats, they would stick together and make life difficult for the Sri Lankans.
In a word, the Money factor would be the real motivator for the Indian players to pull their acts together!

Though Indian team ie technically [statistics] much better than Srilanka, anything can be happen in a game, if India learns by their previous mistakes then they can perform well against srilanka, even Srilankans are tough team as they have also tasted the feel of winning worldcup, it all depends on who win the toss, and who plays up to the mark,
afterall cricket is a game of chance...and you cannt predict the winner till the last ball of the game...
I just want to wish Srilankans good luck because this time THE INDIANS will be THE WORLD CHAMPIONS...cheers...

Sri Lanka is having a better edge over India. If any one thinks that India team is better just because they won 2 matches in Indian soil? It's wrong judgment. Sri Lankans played without their key bowlers , Vass & Murali. Still they won one match. Last two years Sri Lanka played better cricket against India. check the statics once again.
Indias Moral has gone down after they got beatn by Bangladesh. Sri Lankans Moral is better since Mahela has got his batting foarm once again.
I wish if India can beat Bermuda for once. Then again they will lose to Sri Lanka but they can still stay on for another defeat by Bangladesh.

We must think about Bermuda first. We must beat them convincingly as it will improve our net run-rate. And then we must beat Srilanka convincingly or unconvincingly, by hook and not by any crook. Before that we must pray that Lanka loses to Bangladesh. Remember we have to win against Lanka at all costs to stay in the world cup. After that we must watch that Bangladesh-Bermuda match. So pray HARD to GOD if you still believe in India, watch all the remaining FOUR matches in GROUP B from START TO FINISH and also listen to the silly comments MADE BY MANDIRA BEDI & CO in between two innings.
