People have not been drinking enough water. You dehydrate because the body is 2/3 water. Back Pain is water deficiency. Our back has disks, these disks are full of fluid and they are 80 % water. When we are not putting enough water into our bodies the disks will be wearing out and the parts that the disks support will come together and that causes hunchbacks as well as Arthritus and eventually could lead to surgery to remove a disk and then it works like a domino effect, as it goes down the spine. Our body is designed to have three curves in our spine. When the degeneration starts it is a process and we start bending forward. So you go to a medical professional and they just treat the pain and not the cause, and give you pain medicine which may ease the pain but not take away the problem, and when it gets bad enough that is when they will operate. Our motto is " Educate and not medicate"
We must drink half our body weight in water. Ex: You weigh 120 you must drink 60 ounces of water= 81/2 glasses of filtered water a day. Not decaffenated drinks nor juice, but Pure Water! I average about 10 glasses a day. If you care to know more about how to get healthy and stay healthy email me at newbegin@shaw.ca and put as the subject "Help me get healthy naturaly"..

Can you take yoga lessons? Yoga will help train you to hold the correct posture. You will need a good teacher to make sure of how you are doing and tell you how to get your back straighter. It will work.
Good luck!

If you are hunchback one way to try and correct this is by literally tying yourself to the chair so that you can't slouch.

roll up a towel and place it behind your back at the curve while sitting. This will help remind you to sit more upright, improving your posture and decreasing backaches.
