This is what I heard whether its true of not I don’t know. But apparently the cast of girlfriends wanted more money per episode and the girls all agreed that they would go and see the producers and say that they wanted a pay rise. However at the meeting or just before Tracee Ellis Ross who plays 'Joan', Golden Brooks who plays 'Maya’ and Persia White who plays 'Lynn‘. Decided that they were not going to ask for more money and poor Jill Marie Jones who plays Toni was left out on her own, so she decided that she could no longer work with people that were going to stab her in the back, so she decided to leave the show
