She is the travel lady from the travel channel. She gets paid to travel, eat fancy foods and report on top destinations!

I suggest you research journalism as a career, if you haven't already. I suspect she started out as a wide-eyed intern at a news company and worked her way up. Find companies that report on travel or review restaurants and get your foot in the door by accepting any position you can get. Then prove your skills to get promoted.
