need help on benq scanner?

I have purchased a benq scanner. It was working fine so far but I just installed a canon camera in my cabinet Usb Port where it asked me for a an option whether I wish to scan images via my scanner and I clicked yes. Now as I have started my system again I can no longer scan images in the old fashion.

Reinstall the scanner drivers. Canon somehow stomped them.
