band is one of the coolest things you could do in high school, if you like it, you get to play an intrument and get a good great. But people that don't know anything about it thinks its stupid cause we wear what they think stupid outfits, (which I think are awesome)
I either think they were in band at one time, and think that all we do is playing the insturment, and that people in band are totally different people (not a family), like it was in middle school. and they still think its stupid, the exact smae thing in high school,
or...
people never joined band at all, and they see how much fun we get to have, and we get to do the chicken dance on the field, and are jealous maybe...
or...
most of the people in the band are like everyone else, so they belong, but there are 1 or 2 people that don't realy belong, and don't hang out in the band room at lunch. those kind of people that aren't in band don't c the fun in it, and what it does for you...

band? id kill to go through high school again and learn how to read music for free.. i love music and cant tell you how badly i regret not taking the class.. i can harmonize pretty darn good though.. thanks choir class....

Well be in a band to play the music you love.
What are the kind of people who think that being in bands are stupid?
I was in a band for about 2- 3 years. None told me being in a band is stupid.
I stand out as a musician amongst a wide group of friends because i posses good technique in the instrument i play.
I love what i do and i do not care what others think about it.
Learn good conversational skills and always be humble.

To each their own. Some people express themselves in different ways. LIke I would think choir is stupid, but that's just me. Opinions are like A holes. Everyone has one and everyone thinks everyone elses stinks.
