I love an opportunity to brag about my baby. he has just turned one and is the best thing in my life. He started walking two days after he turned 9 months, he has been using a beaker since he was 6 months, he finger feeds well and is attempting a spoon every meal time. Since he was 4 months he has slept through the night. He now goes to bed at 7pm and doesn't wake until 7.30am! and he still has two good naps during the day. He says 'ta' 'down' and 'gone'.

morning all!!!! my 23 month old was 3 weeks early and the midwives said she would be behind most kids her age..... she crawled at 5 months she slept through the night at 6 wks old she had no problems teething she pulled her self along the furniture at 71/2 months, she says some of the alpha bet and counts she dresses herself (admittedly the wrong clothes lol ) but she has a damn good go, and shes potty trained, which i am really proud about cuz shes our first. everything about our daughter is so precious we thought we were going to loos her last year when she started having convulsions, but she been given the all clear, so as long as she still here i don't worry bout silly little things like my baby does this mine does that, as long as they healthy that all that matters

I have the cutest baby girl! (how's that for some mommy snootiness?)
No really she is a doll and always happy and giggly, she sleeps at night like a charm, she is always happy to go somewhere and be happy and when we flew over to Germany she enjoyed the whole thing and didn't cry once on the planes!

why not?

my daughter is 20 months old. she started walking at 9 months. she knows the whole alphabet. if you show her the letter she will tell you. she knows how to count to ten in Vietnamese. she knows all of the main shapes (triangle, *circle*, star, heart, square) and most of the colors, especially yellow and blue!

i have seen most babies her age can hardly speak! my daughter is a fast learner and she loves to learn. she has a draw pad and she is always giving it to me b/c she wants me to write the alphabet or wants me to draw something so that she can guess what it is. it's like a game to her!

she is very well behaved and doesn't throw temper tantrums. very happy baby. loves saying hi to people. very social!

she knows how to say so many things! and she's not even 2! I'm so proud of her. and it makes me feel good to know that I'm her teacher! I'm a young single mother, I'm only 22, and if i can do it, i know that other young single mothers can to!
