All in all, it was wonderful. But we always enjoy this Holiday. My youngest son and I cooked up our Corned Beef and Cabbage and my other son brought home a pregnant homeless girl...who we've let move in since she so desperately needs a place to stay. Between her and my kids and another friend of my sons, we had a full house of laughter and good times.
I could really go for a green cupcake though.

Went to the movies with my sister and my future brother in-law to go see Ghost Rider. Pretty much that is what I did for Saint Patrick's Day.

My St patricks day was great! I actually started celebrating last Sunday at the Southside Irish St. Patricks Day Parade, I partied steadily throughout the week. Today we went to early morning Mass, went to Chicago's St. Patricks Day Parade, back to my sister's house to celebrate my nieces 10th birthday, ate corned beef and cabbage & birthday cake, we left all the kids with my sister and left to the bar around 10p, it is 6am Sunday I just got back to my sisters everyone is asleep, and I just realized I type pretty good when I am drunk, there are kids passed out all over the place so I can't find a place to sleep other than the chair I am in right now, so unless I can find a corner in my sisters bed I am forced to sleep here for a few hours until it is time to go to morning Mass. After that it is back in the garage to play bean bags in the alley with the neighbors, drink what ever beer is left over, wait for our family lunch eat some lasagna, and pass out until 6 months from now when the White Sox dress in green to play in their annual 1/2 way to St. patricks Day game.
Oh yeah we do it up right in Chicago for St. Patricks Day, and I'm not even fricken Irish! But my sister lives in Bridgeport, its the neighborhood our Irish Mayor grew up in, and here they drink like every day is St. Patricks Day! So i'm not Irish by blood, only by geographical location.
Hey Grandpa Dude above me,
IRISH YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY! LOL

I can beat that. I had breakfast out with my kids and granddaughters made corned beef and cabbage for supper, had some chocolate cake(because I also celebrated my birthday)and avoided television all together. The only thing i lacked was some Irish coffee with my cake.

Great, was invited to a party.
We had Beer, Irish stew, Fresh bread and a Light dessert!
The hostess had Irish music includIng some Irish Rovers!
We contemplated our Irishness, vowing to try a little harder to pinpoint the area in Ireland where our forefathers lived!

I went to a fondue party which is so totally random and totally 80's. Most of the food was not green, but the plates and napkins etc were, and we all had blinking shamrock pins and fresh lime drinks. It was sweet.
