what is the best way to get the glue off my side-cover without messin up the paint??

i have a vulcan-900 custom.the dealer was paid to take off the emblems, but forgt the one on the side cover,so i took a peace
of fishin line to work it off,but still have a little glue left..i dont want to mess the paint up

go to the store and get some adhesive remover (goo be gone) found at walmart.kmart etc...

First try using a strip of Duck tape to pull off the old glue. If that doesn't work try a hair drier to heat up the old glue then use the duck tape scenario. If you still can't "getter done" use WD-40 then wash to oil off with some soap and water.
