You go in a calculus or chemistry class, and all the professors do is talk. Yap yap yap, we need to know how to do the damn problems in the book. Yapping doesn't help. What do you think, and how did you get through these classes?

I know exactly what your talking about, I ended up having to read the chapters and take extensive notes and just work on the problems till I was able to do them on your own or sometimes I talked to people that had better teachers reviewed their notes, looked online for assistance which each subject matter, I really hate paying for tuition when a teacher doesnt really teach me I end up teaching myself.

yeah, my profs do this too. i found out that getting together with other students and forming a study group to go over the actual problems helped alot and i also found on campus that they have labs for free where advanced students or grad students went over the problems in the books instead of just talking about whatever. so you might check those out.

LOL....i think that's crazie...especially since you need to learn to apply what they're talking about..and you really can't do that if they're lecturing all the time. But if you have tutorial then your safe. Hmmm during those types of classes...i usually just sleep..or eat....mainly just sleep :)
