I bought an item over the net and i am going out of town the day before my package is due to be brought to my address. So can i go by a ups store and pick it up a day early if has arrived.

Probably not. Because, in most cases, the distribution stream for deliveries isn't routed through the local UPS Store, it's done through an entirely separate facility.

You can try calling the UPS Store to ask. I suspect you'll be unsucessful in that particular avenue, though. Still, they may be able to tell you where the distribution center is, if you want to go that far to retrieve it.

Probably so. Call the local UPS pick up center and tell them your circumstances.
