What If I marry a man who is still a virgin when we met? Given my sexual history (at least 50 lovers) wouldn’t it be hypocritical of me to expect that he only have sex with me for the rest of his life?

Every relationship should have a fresh start. Virgin or not you should always respect each other and expect to be respected as well... if not why getting married in the first place??
And when it comes to sex, hopefully from your experience you have learn what it takes to keep a man sexually happy.
Bottom line: if there was a way I don't think there would be so many divorces and cheaters.!!

you can never be sure of the future. getting married even to a virgin is not an assurance that you will last together forever. however, life is always a risk.take it, get married then work on making it last forever. even if it does not, accept it and move on. at least, you have tried. the sad thing will be if you haven't tried it at all. then you will be left wondering all your life.

Regardless to the past history, once the vows have been taken, then you are only committed to each other. Any issues regarding the past (past lovers), should be resolved before marriage in order for it to be without drama over time.

I doubt someone with that kind of sexual history is going to marry a virgin. Not so much hypocritical as unrealsitic.

i had a girlfriend who had many more sexual partners than me, and for some reason it wasn't an issue. she was very trustworthy and loyal, so i didn't mind. i was never scared of her cheating and i didn't care about her past.
on the other hand, usually i'm jealous if a girl has had more sex than me.. i feel like it's only fair i should be able to have hot sex with other hot girls. i don't know.

You will know him well enough that given that he knows himself and you well enough....he can tell you that he will be loyal and you believe and trust that. If it's anything other than this....don't get married. It is only hypocritical if you expect it from him, but do not expect it from yourself. If its a good enough reason to commit adultry to you.....they why worry?

If he wants to be with you after knowing how many miles you have, that should say alot. Just dont judge him and compare him to others.
