I am currently renting a room in a house and the landlord is being a pain! He won't even fix things in the house like the sink and etc...I want to find what the laws are of what the landlord's legal duties are regarding such things...I am in LOS ANGELES, btw.

Stop whining and if you don't like it, go someplace else. Most people that rent rooms don't have a lot of money, and you are probably more of a pain to him than he is to you.

It's his sink, and if you don't like it, leave. There are plenty of other rooms to rent.

Here someone is trying to make a few extra dollars per month renting a room, and there you are looking up the rules to sue him. Disgraceful.
