x^2 -x -12 = (x-4)(x+3)
(x-13)/(x^2 -x -12) + (3x - 3)/(x^2 -x -12) = 4(x-4)/(x^2 -x -12)
=4(x-4)/(x-4)(x+3) = 4/(x+3)

(x - 13/ x^2 - x - 12) + (3x - 3/ x^2 - x - 12)
= {(x - 13) + (3x - 3)}/ x^2 - x -12)
= x - 13 + 3x - 3/ x^2 - x -12
= 4x- 16/ x^2 - x - 12
= 4(x - 4)/ (x + 3)(x - 4)
= 4/ (x +3)
