depends
In 2002 I was diagnosed with ALS. Life expectancy 2-3 years, fully paralysed, sitting in electrical wheelchair & Hospice accomodation -not able to speak, swolllow, chew or scratch myself.
I was seriously considering suicide as one option, but needed assistance.

Instaed of taking my own life I turn to God
Consequently I received miracolous healing. Today I no longer have this dreadful illness, I'm mobile & healthy.
But I have seen people in the Hospice reduced to nothing - I wouldn't allow my dog to suffer like that.

Very difficult dilema

Very much against it. I believe that we are all here for a purpose, and you have no right to circumvent that by ending your time before it is supposed to be up. Not a religious thing, just, a belief in the general purpose of life. Incidentally, I fight suicide on a regular basis, my husband has chronic clinical depression with suicidal ideations. Which means at least one visit to a mental hospital a year, usually.

I am against it I just don't understand how some people think life that bad that they will rather be died but that just me I am sure they have there reason but do they ever thing of their friends and family because once they commit suicide it them that left in pain and the way I look at it is
a. they were that bad to them they deserve to be left in pain or
B. the person who commits suicide just doesn't care.

against it.
My uncle commited suicide because he owed back taxes, his wife divorced him because she was a bad woman, and his girlfriend had dumped him after that.

He had a successful business, and could have paid the tax debt. He had 3 beautiful kids who depended on him for stability. After he killed himself, everything fell apart for his children.

It is a selfish thing to do.

i'm not for or against it, but i'm PRO-CHOICE on suicide

if someone wants to kill themselves to get away from all the B.S. and idiots in this world, they should have that right. how can we have the right to *create other life,* but not to take our own life? it's ridiculous. i'm "for" the right to control your own life.
