The blocks I want to get are 18" X 18". I want to get enough to cover the entire area, plus a few extra rows of them at the front entrance. How many will I need?

You need about 50

1.5X1.5=2.25sq ft
100 divided by 2.25 = 44..444

Plus a few extra for the front

Actually if you want to use whole blocks with no cuts your pad will be a10.5 foot square you will need 49 blocks for the field and how ever many for the entrance, (maybe 4 or 6).

Well... you have an area there of about 100ft.

For 18"x18" blocks, you'd need about 67 of them.
(100ft. / 1.5ft.)

So for the front entrance and all, I'd get about 80-85. I don't know how big the entrance is, but this will make up for broken stock, mistakes, etc.

Hope this helps!
