Well, I didnt have many friends until I started Kindergarten, and the first kid I met was a boy. Then I met his other friends and so on, and I ended up being a tomboy. But there are toerh kids at my school who treat me diferently than the other girls. I'm in a school with grades 1-8, and in the junior high part of the school, theres about 7 or 8 girls, and I think 11 guys. Its a small school. But anyway, I'm the only girl in grade 8, and theres 3 other boys. For some weird reason, its a 6/8 class, and the grade 6 girls hate me. With the girls in grade 7, they're my friends, but most of the boys treat me really different. The only ones who dont treat me as differently are the other boys in my grade. But the others are barely my friends. They treat the other girls normally, and like hanging out with them. I dress sort of like a boy, but obviously, *hint* they can see that I'm a girl. I have short light brown hair, and I like sports. Why do they treat me like they do? How can I change it?

Being a tomboy is a lot of fun. You get to do all kinds of things, and figure out what it is you love to do, not what other people say you "should" do. Mother Nature has no such rules. Boys can sew, girls can be sportscasters.
The other girls have formed a "clique" and try to find things that are like they are, and find out things about others that are not like them. Then they make a big deal of it. It's very complex, so just understand that most girls grow out of it, and they will discover you are a great person.
While you are waiting for them to grow up (it's an issue of maturity, too) go out and climb all the trees you want, play football, and any other "boys" activity you want. When you grow up you will learn that this experience has taught you a lot about boys and how to relate to them, which will help you understand a husband, if you ever marry.

hi wish you're ok and nicely. To be honest being a tomboish woman isn't that vast of difficulty yet shall we address each question with assistance from itself. a million- if that boy likes the way you're...you do not have the right to verify if you're strong sufficient for him or no longer..in case you want him then flow woman. 2- it doesn't damage to artwork somewhat on your looks, i'm no longer asking you to placed on skirts and extreme heels, yet a least in case you position on baggy pants or jeans, end doing that and placed on some tighter pants. similar issues is going for shirts.... 3-Being a tomboy will no longer be pshycological, i imagine you've a small self-worth difficulty, you at the instantaneous are not gentle along with your body...do in simple terms no longer ignore that you're suitable the way you're you do not opt to cover it in baggy manish pants...you need to be the lady that you dream to be...if you're nonetheless in college it doesn't damage to communicate with a instructor or a counselor or perhaps your mum that could help you fo step with assistance from step right into a small makeover....

I think tomboys have a badass, cool, confident personality, conceited girls are never taken seriously,NEVER.Um but if you want to be treated "like a girl",act more like one and dress more like one,it doesn't change who you are, you're still growing on the inside and out based on ur age,so just be confident in pulling the girlish appeal,be confident about being different,YOU ARE WORTHY OF IT,don't let anyone bring you down♥Miss Chicana♥

Don't change for anyone. Chances are these girls are jealous because your in tight with all the guys. Even if you don't have any romatic interest in the guys it still kills allot of girls when a chick is accepted by the guys.

you should one day comem dressing totally differently...then the next day be yourself...and so on
they'll start getting curious then wonder why you're acting like you are. you can confront them with how you think that YOU should be treated.
people just like to judge, its just a natural thing that comes with teens/preteens (trust me..i no :) ) it's also associated with cliques and all that sort of stuff....they judge from the outside..but show them a totally different side of you that they might not know of

If you have a pretty girl face and a hot body, nothing wrong with tom-boy look. But if you already look like your brother, wear a dress and such.

hon, be yourself. do what YOU like!? if they have a problem with it, oh well. dont let it get next to you. if they are wasting all that energy focusing on what you are doing all the time - they are obviously either ignorant or envious. maybe even both. LOL.
be strong honey. enjoy your life. no ones gotta live it but you! might as well LOVE what you do.
good luck! you will be fine.

try wearing a skirt...go shopping with one of your more girly friends and get advice...there is nothing wrong with being a tomboy though....and theres nothing wrong with liking sports. I f they are mean to you just ignore them and tell them that you don't scare what they think.

you cant change who you are. like yourself. maybe if you want to be more girl, try wearing a mini t-shirt or tight jeans, once you started, it will get more addictive. and if your friends dont like who you are, dump them.
i was a tomboy once, and i slowly shed my tomboyness and started wearing tubes and speghetti straps (with a mini jeans jacket). but i would never wear a sexy top with a skirt. its either sexy top or a sexy skirt but never both unless im going out with someone i really like. and i wont be such a prissy priss girly girl.

If i can understand your Q. If you want them to treat you like a girl then act like one and dress like one. If the problem is with the girls just hang with the ones who treat you like you want to be treated as for the other girls forget them. Just be with your friends.
