Euthanasia is a different than Assisted Suicide, because it's often very hard to tell (after the fact) that the person actually gave their consent. But for purposes of this question, let's assume consent can be proven.

I would expect most people who support one to support the other, because both deal with the individual making the choice of medical procedure for themself, rather than the government being able to force or prohibit the decision against their will.

I don't think many people actually "support abortion". One may be opposed to the practice of abortion yet still believe that it should be an option available to a woman and her doctor.

Probably most people who are pro-choice would also support the right to end one's life by choice under certain circumstances.

I have not seen any stats for that, but I am one who would support euthanasia in certain circumstances, but I don't really support abortion... I support euthenasia in certain instances because of a personal experience of taking care of a loved one who was terminally ill--- she was in soo much pain that no medication could help her and she was actually begging GOD to let her die

this is sort of an apples compared to oranges issue isn't it?? the baby would not be the one to choose o end his/her life, thus it isn't voluntary....voluntary euthanasia is well voluntary and the person choosing to end the life is the person whose life will be taken..not really comparable as it is more of a suicide versus homicide question?
