My bother runs a shop selling Japanese traditional & cultural goods (like samurai goods) as souvenir, which you can find at many tourits attractions in Japan.
Are you interested in such goods and, if so, want to buy them if you can do that without visiting Japan?
He wants to sell his goods to people abroad who really cherish them, but wants to know how many people in the world need such a service.

Local souvenirs are purchased as a memory of the travel or vacation. I do not think there is a market for that. If you mean not souvenir goods but Japanese art, craft, or antique pieces, some people might be interested in.
