I pretend that i like it.
i will eat it all ( but make sure you have some sort of beverage that you can keep drinking after each bite so its not so hard)
and pretend it was great and i make sure that they never cook again..if they say " come over tonight , i will make dinner" i will say something like "im so sorry i am having a family dinner tonight, and make up some occasion like a familys birthday or anniversay and etc)
My ex's ex girlfriend was a chef and she taught him how to cook really well and he used to cook for me beautiful meals.
after we broke up the new guy i was seeing, it came up in conversation once how my ex was a great cook, which i horribly regret because he then tryed to be the same, he started cooking me meals all the sudden , and they were HORRIBLE, he took no consideration in what i liked, but i was always polite, and i felt bad because i cant cook, and i never have anything really to give my lover except GREAT SEX HAHA! and my loving :)

This is one of those situations that most of us don't pre-plan. And then there we are confronted with it. I would think that if the meal was cooked by a perfect stranger......then be honest, since there is no history of friendship to be possibly tarnished. If the "cook" in question is a new possible "interest".....then again, be honest. We all know it's not wise to begin a relationship with even the littlest lie. A good friend should respect your honesty as well. Even if it takes them a week to get over it. But of course........I am making reference to bad ,bad........".gonna make you sick " food . Anything eatable can change the senario. I guess what I'm saying is to make the judgment call depending on the ability to actually tolerate the food or not.

Have you ever went over a friend's house to eat
And the food just ain't no good?
I mean the macaroni's soggy, the peas are mushed
And the chicken tastes like wood
So you try to play it off like you think you can
By sayin' that you're full
And then your friend says: "Momma, he's just being polite
He ain't finished - uh uh, that's bull!"
So your heart starts pumpin and you think of a lie
And you say that you already ate
And your friend says: "Man - there's plenty of food!"
So you pile some more on your plate
While the stinky foods steamin, your mind starts to dreamin
Of the moment that it's time to leave
And then you look at your plate and your chicken's slowly rottin
Into something that looks like cheese
So you say: "That's it - I got to leave this place
I don't care what these people think
I'm just sittin here makin myself nauseous
With this ugly food that stinks"
So you bust out the door while it's still closed
Still sick from the food you ate
And then you run to the store for quick relief
From a bottle of Kaopectate
And then you call your friend two weeks later
To see how he has been
And he says: "I understand about the food,
Baby bubbah, but we're still friends"

nicely permit me say what is going to i do perhaps you are able to take some regulations. If the nutrition is hen at flavor attempt to consume what isn't hen and in basic terms %. up on that so once you do get to the serving factor of that distinctive hen tasting merchandise you wont have room to consume it. additionally circulate the factor around it makes it look as you had some bites even theory you have no longer. Its no longer impolite to ask for a sauce which you relish like mustard, ketchup, A1 sauce some thing your conscious of so your flavor buds wont sink under making you prefer to barf your meal.one extra observe Its valuable to consume adequate of your meal yet its consistently a compliment to the chef in case you go away small parts on your plate because of the fact no longer each and every person licks the plate sort of talking.

If I can eat it I will eat and smile and never try it again .
If it was so horrible taht I can't eat I will not hurt myself and I will say that I have to go or try to know the contents and say I dislike one of them and that I'm sorry that I can't eat it .
But if I love the one who is cooking I will try his cooking twise and then tell him that I don't like him/her to never cook because ...... you know .

I lie to them and tell them that the food is wonderful, but unfortunately I have an upset stomach and I'd rather not eat anything because I'm afraid I'll throw up.

You eat it, smile and ask for alcohol to go into your soda to numb you taste buds so you can get the rest down...they think you are partying and having a great time and you can't taste the food

One of the worst things I ever ate was when my Mother-in-law fried potatoes in so much grease it poured out of the pan to! I took just enough to show some on my plate. I ate them so she wouldn't get upset. She has a hair trigger temper.

LOL....OMG....you have been to my house on the nights my roommate cooks....Right?!?!?...
OMG....take tonight for example....she made fried pork chops...peas & then rewarmed Mac & Cheese...that I made 3 days ago!...that was in the fridge, for some reason.....The food was just gross...the chops were so greasy that even though they were on a paper towel....they were still dripping...UGH!....
Needless to say...I made me some ramen noodles & called it good....UGH!...my kids wouldn't touch it either...we all ate ramen....
This is how she cooks....nothing that woman makes is any good....
I let her know too....mainly because I am trying to discourage her from cooking...but she doesn't listen to me..she takes it as a joke...
Anyone else...I just let it go...smile & pretend....
