i moved into a new house and there is this fuking stupid lock on my backyard gate and i want to remove it. the lock is like this:

can a 36" bolt cutter handle it or i will need some special tools to kill it? thanks.

Those master combo padlocks can be hammerd off easily. or the bolt cutters will work, no problem.

It is almost impossible to cut through a good U lock using bolt cutters. They use case hardened steel and are very strong. Even the cheaper ones will deter a pair of bolt cutters.

yea just use a hammer. but I do remember the janitors in school cutting locks just like that with bolt cutters too.
