im going to mexico with a group of people to help poor people in mexico to help build houses and give them gifts. its a 14 day trip and 2 days on a bus. im 15 and so y are they making fun of me going on this trip.

They are immature idiots, do not put any weight in their empty words. Seriously what you are doing is for a good cause, tell them if they do not like it they can go pound sand, and to grow up. I think it's great you and others are doing this, it shows strong character, and a good soul. Not only that, but this could be such a learning experience for you culture-wise as well, be sure to keep a journal of your trip! I think it is commendable that you are making a conscientious effort to help the poor!

I think it is wonderful that you are going to Mexico to help build houses. Anyone that makes fun of you is either very jealous or very immature. You will be helping someone else and at the same time the experience will be invaluable to you. Have a great time.

I have no idea why someone would make fun about something like this. What you are going to do while you are down there to help is absolutely heart warming. If every 15 yr old that was able to help would, then this maybe we could help many more people. Koodos for you young man!!

Honestly I think they are jealous because you are going on a trip and they are stuck in the same ol crap hole of a town they are in and cant get out! I honestly think you are doing a wonderful thing and have a great heart to help these less fortunate people. I would do it in a heart beat!

I think what you are doing is amazing. I love Mexico and when I was there I found the people to be so nice and sweet. I feel that this will be a wonderful experience for you.

Probably because they don't understand the value of what you're doing. Do you? If they're willing to listen, maybe you could explain it to them. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about them too much. Just go to Mexico and enjoy the work you're about to do. You'll be glad you did.
