how can killing a baby be moral? only an evil mother would want to kill her own baby. there is no difference between killing a baby after 3 months, 9 months, the day of birth, or 4 months after birth. murder is murder.

i would sacrifice my life for my child's, when i have one. my life is certainly not worth more than a child's. if you wouldnt sacrifice your own life for your kid's, youre the one with issues.

Abortion is murder. Every baby deserves to live. As far as overpopulation, maybe this world doesn't need YOU in it. Where rape is conserned, there is that morning after pill. Do you really think that murdering a baby would be the right thing to do because you were raped? Will it make you memories go away? 2 wrongs don't make a right. (Rape+Abortion= Memories of both) And as far as, "I couldn't give up my child and let somebody else raise it", so you would rather KILL it? How is that rational thinking? A fetuses heart starts beating at 20 days gestation. That is before most people even know that they are preganent. As far as medical conserns go, Dr.s are not perfect they make educated GUESSES. I am 12 weeks preganent with #3. Not planned, I had an IUD. My first ultrasound was done and I was told by the Ultrasound Dr. "There is no sign of an IUD and your baby is dead, there is no heart beat" I was also told that the placenta was pulling away and that I should have a D & C. I went back to my Dr. told her that I did not feel comfotable with that and decided to wait a week and have another ultasound even though I was told there could be no mistake. As I said before I am now 12 weeks, they were wrong. It happens. If you don't want children the DON'T have sex, it is really that easy. If you are ready to own up to your responsibilties but don't want a child right now then use safe sex but know that there is always a chance of becoming preganent. Abortion should not be used as just another form of birth control.

It depends on the circumstances. If it is simply because ":I was drunk and didn't know what I was doing and don't want a kid" or "it was a mistake" then it is totally immorale. Those people can adopt their child out to people who can not have their own.

If it is because the Mother will die or the Mother was raped then I think yes but it has to be early on in the pregnancy.

Terminating a child in the third trimester???? Sorry, but this is just wrong. Why on earth did this person not adopt their children out?

I would say it depends on who you are speaking to. My opinion is it is a moral issue period. Whether you are for or against abortion, whether you feel life begins in or out of the womb is a moral issue. If a person who doesn't feel like abortion is murder or killing a fetus then it is a moral issue because it is not murder in their eyes. If they felt it was murder then it's a moral issue as well because most people would not kill something living. Whether a person is for or against is a moral issue no matter what side you choose and does not always have to do with religion or black and white. I would say that on both side it has to do with the values and knowledge each one has.

Im no one to judge but I think that if you were having fun while making the baby, you should have fun raising the baby... Why can some one get away with abortion that is technically killing a human being, but if you kill a child that is just born you get put in jail,,, Thats measuring with 2 standards in my opinion...I think that if the pregnancy was a result of something unpleasant happening abortion could be an option, it shouldnt be the only option...

No, abortion is never moral- my question to those who think that it is- "is it moral to kill a child that is born already? NO- babies that are born cannot be killed because "they are not fully developed yet, so those who are still in the mother's womb should not be killed either"

Abortion on demand is NOT moral. That's simple murder.
Abortion in cases of rape or to save the mother's life is moral.

I don't think it's moral but there's nothing I can do to stop someone from having one if they're determined to do it. I could never do it myself. I think adoption is a much wiser (and more moral) decision than abortion.

abortion was origanlly used for women who were raped adn/or had trouble that would cause them and/or the baby to die. no and days girls who dont use protection and get pregnant use it as a common thing. abortion is wrong. it is just like having a baby be born and poisoning it. except abortion is were they do it in side the mother.

In this day and age it's totally up to the individual, but personally it's a sin of the greatest order.
