Entertainment in theTempe/ Mesa area?

I feel like I've completely lost track of what there is to do for fun these day. I'm a night person, and I'm always up until the early morning. Movie theaters aren't open as late as I'd like on week days, and there just isn't anything else to do. Hookah Bars are expensive and my boyfriend doesn't drink, so going to a bar or club isn't an option. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem, and grew up in that area. I don't drink, but have gone to clubs when I date girls that like to dance. Does your bf like any local bands or types of music? You could follow the bands when they play clubs and bars, or open air concerts, there used to be lots of that on Mill Ave. and around ASU.
Mainly I spent my nights driving out to the White Tanks or up South Mountain, even hiking Squaw Peak, don't know if you're into that sort of thing.
I know what you mean though, for such a big city it can die early during the week.

I urge you to join the DVD club and rent new release movies.Then invite your friends over for a movie and pizza. You all can chat after with desserts and coffee. You also can have your cable T.V. These are things you can do beside shopping at the malls or supermarkets that open till midnight. I urge you and your boyfriend to walk along the area after you eat the dinner and stop at the restaurant for dessert and coffee. You 2 can chat and see the crowd while eating, after that you can watch movies from cable or renting DVD club.This activity will help you save money and have a good time with your love one.
