I asked this same question before and said:
The problem is weird. The car vibrates when I am idle. Meaning when I am at a red light or stop sign. Sometimes when i am in idle, it doesn't vibrate. But at those times if I decide to turn on the A.C. it may start to do so. If I start the car and decide to put the power windows down while the car is at rest it will vibrate also. Sometimes when I am at a red light, if I put the car in neurtral the vibrating will stop but sometimes it keeps going. When the car is in park and I decide to give a tiny bit of gas to the car the vibrating may also stop. What do you suppose that the problem may be. I haven't been able to turn on my A.C. for a while because of the vibrating gets worse.
I have an black 03 Camry 4 cylinder engine. It has an automatic transmission.
I have previously had motor mounts replaced, fuel filters cleaned, alternater belts changed, it still does so.

Your car is vibrating due to your rpms dropping lower than normal when putting a load on it, which is why it will do it when the A/C kicks on and sometiimes when idling, that would also be the reason why it stops when giving it a little throttle. What you need to do is get some MAF ( Mas Air Flow) cleaner and also a can of throttle body cleaner. Clean the MAF then hold the throttle up just a little with the intake off and spray the throttle body cleaner directly into the throttle body. If that doesnt fix the problem then it is at least a good start. Next check your sparkplugs and change if it has been over 40K since the last change, also check to make sure your timing isnt off a little, also look under your distributor cap if your engine has one and replace if necessary..

nothing to worry about the engine type is know a a 4 banger
at idle the engine pistons don't carry enough momentum to cancel out the vibrations so it vibrates.
And it vibrate even more when you strain it with the a/c or any other power consumption.
As long as it is not vibrating while you are going down the road, its fine. You can even change the idle to go a little faster and it will tone the vibration down. Find where the gas pedal cable connects to the throttle body, usually the top of the engine and there will be a little screw, the screw keeps the throttle open to idle the car, when you tighten the screw the engine will go faster loosen it and it will go slower. Tighten it to lesson the vibration, it might just be set to low.
Find a new mechanic, he screwed you.

By the nature of the question it seems that you are not a home mechanic, and therefore i would recommend you to have your local dealer run computer diagnostics to identify the cause. Some of the answers to your Q seems fine, if you were any kind of a mechanic. There could be many reasons for the vibration, though all fuel injected engines have an idling actuator which should increase idling speed under load.
Rather have it checked

its a autmatic. my brothers car does the same thang when in a idle the RPM should read betwen 500-1,000 RPM If it is higher then that idle down idleing to fast is what made my brothers car shake when satting still. A/C you say it doent do it and then you can turn on the A/C and it will. When the A/C pump kicks on it tells the car to idle faster. If nothing else take it to a mechanic.

Turn up the idle speed a bit until the shaking stops. Or advance the timing on the distributor. Which ever.

it may nicely be a foul tire or rim, yet why assume that first? i'd take the motorcar in and get the tires balanced. this can be the first issue i'd always examine if the motorcar is vibrating. actually have the tires checked for unusual positioned on that could aspect out some thing like a separated tread or worn and/ or damaged elements.

How many miles does this car have?

It sounds like one or more of your coil packs are getting weak.....a weka spark can make you lose power....if your car starts to shake...then you are losing spar to one or more of your cylinders....potentially causing a stall.

These motors have a coil pack per cylinder.....have the codes for your car pulled to see if the engine management can tell you something....usually it will have the OBD codes in a situation like this.

The only other thing I can think about is loose coil pack connection.....

if its a little vibration don't worry about it..use the right kind of gas...and if its horrible have the computer checked and get the idle reset
