start-all programs-accessories-system tools defragmenter. good luck and you need to run it every 2 weeks at least.

To defragment a computer do it in these exact steps:
1. Go to My Computer
2. Right click on the C: drive
3. Click Properties
4. Left click on the Tools Tab
5. Click on Defragment Now

You can defrag your comp from the command line.
start \ run
type "cmd" (no quotes) click OK. The command-prompt window comes up.
Type "defrag c:" (no quotes.) Your C drive will defrag. You can use this method to setup a scheduled job to defrag your drive for you, while you sleep. The windows defrag utility in the start \ programs \ accessories \ system tools does not support scheduling.

Find your Hard Drive under My Computer (usually the C:\ drive). Right-Click the drive and click properties and under the properties window click the Tools tab and the defragment tool should be in the middle.

go to My Computer right click on a partition u want to defragmenting click on its properties go to tools & click on defragment now.......................good luck
