What impact do introduced cats and foxes have on native snakes in Australia, considering they share roughly around the same diet? What are the other factors?

Any time you introduce a non native species into an ecosystem more harm than good occurs. The snakes may become over hunted causing their missed presence to disrupt the ecosystem. The prey preditor relationship balance could become disrupted forcing the new organism to look for another food source. The new source may be something that the people did not want destroyed.
