Our emotions are created by the stories we tell ourselves after stimulus. Here's an example:
A car whizzes by you.
You tell yourself the story that the driver is out to kill everybody on the road.
You honk at him, yell and scream and give him the finger.
Let's try again with a different STORY:
A car whizzes by you.
You tell yourself the story that his wife is in the backseat about to deliver a baby.
You feel compassionate for the poor guy and hope everything is OK.
See how a better story can change your emotions? Don't tell stories that your boyfriend is trying to hurt you or make you miserable. Tell yourself the story that he loves you and wants you two to be happy.

The sad truth is this you can't make someone do anything ,not even see things your way. What you can do is see if this relationship is important enough that you can control your actions and stay in the relationship.Remember you cannot change another person, but you can change yourself.Maybe there is an underlying problem probably from a past relationship.Maybe counselling will help.

I know what you mean. My boy friend loved me too but when you are under too much stress or some thing is not working well in your life you shuld try not to throw it at him. He cares for you adn do not loose it over little things. It is okay to have little arguments here and there but when you are angry or screamed at him, just go back and do somehting nice for him. HE will forget what ou did right away. Give him a little gift or spoil him if you love him, if you do not love him then it is your choice to break it up. You do not have ot be in a relatiohsips when you do not have any feelings for him, you can not force yoru self to do some thing you can not do adn it will only get worse if you do not listen to our feelings. Take care

This is something you have to work on your own first. You have to control your anger before you can have a good relationship. It's possible he's not helping the matter. Look at the whole picture and see what the real problems are first though. Is it your anger or something else?

Move on. He is trouble for you. A relationship either builds or tears down. This sounds like a very unhealthy relationship for you.

this is a hard one... but what i sugest is that you go to your doctor and ask for a reliever. i think it is lithum that does that but the sideaffects are bad. and if you dont want sideaffects the ask for just a regular anger manegement pill.

Don't think of it as "making him understand" but you both need to learn to compromise if you want o stay together..
