I was looking over the Dodgers and i think they might have the best. With Jason Schmit and Derek Lowe as aces and Randy Wolf and Brad Penny solid starters. they are very good, plus Kuo might be a very good fifth starter.

BY FAR THE DODGERS WITH SCHMIDT,LOWE,WOLF, AND PENNY 1-4 AND THEY COULD USE KUO, TOMKO, BILLINGSLEY OR HENDRICKSON AS THE # 5 GUY. ANY ONE OF THOSE GUYS CAN BE A NUMBER 3 OR 4 ON ANY TEAM.

I would agree with the Dodgers or Padres. Both rotations have question marks- Wolf and Wells and both have solid starters throughout. They also benefit from having pitcher's parks as their home yards.

I wouldn't say the Cards at all- after Carpenter everyone is suspect. You can't count on Wainwright just because he's striking out AA hitters in Spring Training, and Mulder hasn't been Mulder in a while. Also, until Reyes can prove he belongs in a big league rotation, you still can't count on him.

Surprsingly good rotation:

Milwaukee Brewers- Sheets, Suppan, Capuano can all win 15 or more. Dave Bush is their #4 and he won 12 last year. CLaudio Vargas is their 5th and he's not that good but they have a young stuf named Yovani Gallardo coming up through the system. Gallard was 11-5 1.86 era in A and AA last year and led the minors with 188 k's.
Sleeper rotation:

Pittsburgh- Young and hungry. Duke, Snell, Gorzelanny, and Maholmare young and talented.

Right now its the Dodgers. They dont even need a fifth starter with a rotation of Schmidt, Lowe, Penny, and Wolf. But you never know what can happen with injuries and stuff like that so right now its the Dodgers the Cubs would be second

The Padres have 2 potential Cy Young pitchers
Jake Peavy
Chris Young
2 potential Hall of Famers
Greg Maddux
David Wells
and 1 pitcher who is a second year pitcher who blew everyone away by surprise last year
Clay Hensly

all 5 of the pitchers are very difficult to get runs against

The Cubs? Ha...

LA and San Diego have potentially good rotations.

Don't count out the Cardinals. Carpenter, if Mulder is healthy, Adam Wainwright has proven he can stand the pressure, Anthony Reyes was outstanding in game 1 of the fall classic, and Kip Wells has the chance to succeed with a great pitching coach in Dave Duncan.

If the Cardinals pitching staff can help Wells like they did with Jeff Weaver then it's going to be a tough rotation to play against.

Its the dodgers and this is their rotation

1.Jason Schmidt
2. Derek Lowe
3.Brad Penny
4.Bret Tomko
5.(not decided yet, Randy Wolf has lost a lot with age and I think Chad Billingsly will get the position)

By the way, Hong-Chih Kuo is a relief pitcher

i think it is the san deigo padres you got jake peavy yea he had an off year last year but he is a great pitcher, padres also have two future hall of fame pitchers in maddux and wells, and they also have the six foot ten inch chris young who almost threw like 4 no-hitters last season and they have the best fifth starter in the league in clay hensly, now that is the best rotation in the MLB.

I agree. It is probably the Dodgers if you're just looking on paper but I could almost guarantee that won't be the case when they play out the games.
