me and my sister are having an arguement about Star Wars.
I remember when Annakin was young in the 1990's version. They knew that Darth Vader was in his blood. But, we were just watching Return of the Jedi with Luke Skywalker. We all know they had a baby. Just one. And that was Annakin. We are wondering did they remake Star Wars with new characters? I dont know how to explain it, but Luke and that girl had a baby, and that later showed in the 1990s version. So am I just imagining things or what. Sorry if this doesn't make sense to some of y'all. Its kind of hard to explain.

I'm going to try to explain the whole lineage of the Skywalker family to you, or at least as much of it as I can remember.

STAR WARS EPISODES I-III (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith) was made after EPISODES IV-VI (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi), but takes place in time before them.

EPISODES I-III follow the story of young Anakin Skywalker, who will eventually turn to the Dark Side of the Force and become Darth Vader. He meets, falls in love with, and marries Padme Naberrie Amidala, Queen and later Senator from the planet Naboo. Before her death, Padme gives birth to Anakin's twin children, Luke and Leia.

EPISODES IV-VI follows the stories of Luke and Leia (actually Luke, mainly) as they fight the Empire and eventually confront Darth Vader and trigger his redemption back to the Good Side of the Force, and the reemergence of Anakin Skywalker. As Luke and Leia are brother and sister, it would be wrong for them to have children together, and Leia is linked romantically to Han Solo instead.

Now, in the EXPANDED UNIVERSE (that is novels, comics, etc.) of STAR WARS, Han Solo and Princess Leia are married sometime after RETURN OF THE JEDI. They have three children. First the twins, Jacen and Jaina Solo, and later their brother, Anakin Solo. This Anakin is the grandson of the original Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader.

Does that clear things up?

u got the story wrong

Star Wars 1, The Phantom Menace: Anakin is token to start his training; Obi Wan's Mentor is killed

Star Wars 2, Attack of the Clones: The Replublic Army is built (soon to be The Imperial Army) and Anakin and Padme get married.

Star Wars 3, Revenge of the Sith: Anakin Skywalker and Padme have twins. Leia and Luke. Anakin turns to the Dark Side and becomes Darth Vader.

Star Wars 4, A New Hope: Nothing good happens except Luke and Leia meet up and find each other. Obi Wan is killed by Darth Vader.

Star Wars 5, The Empire Strikes Back: Nothing Happens

Star Wars 6, The Return of the Jedi: Luke Skywalker is finally a jedi. Yoda dies, and Luke does NOT marry his sister "Princess Leia"!!!! He doesnt go for anybody because Jedi can not be married.

The newer films are Episodes 1, 2 & 3. The Luke Skywalker films are Episodes 4, 5, and 6. If you notice at the end of Episode 3 (The Revenge Of The Sith), Palpatine becomes the emperor, Anakin becomes Darth Vader, and Amidala has twins named Luke & Leia. Luke is taken to his Uncle Owen & Aunt Beru, and Leia is taken to Alderaan.

Episode 4 starts off with Luke a teenager, and he meets his twin sister Leia for the first time when he rescues her on The Death Star, where they also meet (unbeknownst to them) their father, Darth Vader.

If you watch the movies, it all makes absolutely perfect sense, and all this is explained.

In Return Of The Jedi (the final film in the series, and Episode 6), Obi Wan Kenobi (who was the man that nearly killed Anakin and is the reason Vader wears that black suit) explains this to Luke (and the audience).

Not sure why your confused, unless you've never actually seen the films, or read anything about the movies until now.

There was no remake. Luke and Leia are Annakin's children, not the other way around.

It may be confusing you that the most recent three episodes showing the making of Darth Vader actually took place earlier in time than the original Star Wars movies.

What 1990s version? Do you mean "The Phantom Menace"? The more recent films actually occur first in terms of story.

Luke and Leia are twins. Their parents are Darth Vader/Annakin Skywalker and Amidala (played by Natalie Portman).

I hope this answers your question, because what you're asking for is quite unclear.

Just to clear up some things that I think are confusing you:

-Anakin Skywalker = Darth Vader
-The only Star Wars movie released in the 90's was Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
-Within the timeline of the movies, Luke doesn't have any kids yet, and he certainly never has any kids with Leia, because they're brother and sister

This is the basic timeline of the movies

===Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - (released 1999) ===
Anakin Skywalker, as a child, is picked up by Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi and will be trained to be a Jedi Knight. He meets Queen Amidala (Padme). Qui-Gon dies in a battle, and Obi-Wan takes Anakin as his apprentice

===Episode 2: Attack of the Clones (released 2002)===
Anakin is 10 years older, and he and Padme fall in love. War is about to break out among the galaxy. Obi-Wan continues training Anakin as his apprentice.

===Episode 3: Revenge of the Jedi (released 2005)===
3 years later, Padme is pregnant, and they're in the middle of the Clone Wars. Anakin turns to the Dark Side and becomes Darth Vader. Obi-Wan fights Anakin on a volcanic planet and wins, cutting off both of his legs and an arm. Padme gives birth to Luke and Leia, and dies shortly after. Anakin is saved by the Emperor who gives him prosthetic legs and arms and the black costume we all know. Anakin is basically half-robot, half-human.

===Episode 4: A New Hope (released 1977)===
19 years after the previous episode, Luke and Leia are each 19 years old and they are raised apart from each other and have no idea each other exists. Luke finds Obi-Wan who then trains him with Jedi basics. The Galactic Empire has built a space station capable of destroying planets. They find out that the Empire has kidnapped Princess Leia and they go to rescue her. Obi-Wan is killed by Darth Vader, and Luke, along with the Rebel Alliance, destroy the Death Star

===Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back (released 1980)==
3 years later, Luke is being trained by Yoda. He later battles Darth Vader (a.k.a. Anakin) who is revealed as his father. Darth Vader cuts off Luke's hand. Luke escapes with Leia.

===Episode 6: Return of the Jedi (released 1983)===
1 year later, the Empire is re-building the Death Star. Luke battles Darth Vader and the Emperor. The Emperor is about to kill Luke but Darth Vader has a change of heart and kills the Emperor. Darth Vader is badly injured and can't survive. Darth Vader reveals his face to Luke and he dies. Luke takes his body and escapes as the Death Star is destroyed again. The galaxy celebrates as the Rebels are victorious over the Empire

Those are just the basics, there's a lot more details. I hope you got the gist of it though.

First Luke never had a baby. Annakin was the original and he and Amadala have 2 babies, Luke and Leia. Annakin got greedy and went to the Dark Side and got his legs chopped of. He turned into Darth Vader and Luke went on a quest to kill him for killing Obi Wan. Then he learned that Leia was his sister and that Darth Vader was his father. Luke never had a baby but I'm sure he wanted to when Leia was in that metal bikini. I'm sure that at one point after the movie they got it on but that wasn't part of the actual movie.

because of the fact there is not any might desire to pull it on and the certainty that distinctive people will hate the remakes for sturdy motives remakes are mainstream now and this is attending to tiresome they're rather out of strategies and the certainty that the actors gotten older or probably lifeless and could no longer replay their areas for 4-6 a million-3 does no longer desire a remake followers will ***** greater approximately it yet one greater reason to hate Avatar and 3-D to no longer point out over 50% of remakes sucks.
