WHAT?!?!?!?

in terms of the Cold War - not WW2 - the big three were the USA, USSR and China.

You could debate the third "big player" of the Cold war - and you would be right - simply because the USA and USSR kept playing other nations off against each other in an attempt to out play each other.

However the only "contestants" for the 3rd spot would England or China (4th spot would be the two Germany's or France)

Hope this helps you

"The big three" refers to Franklin D. Roosevelt (U.S.), Winston Churchill (Britain), and Joseph Stalin (Soviet Union). All were the leaders of their respective countries at the time and met and the Yalta and Potsdam conferences. Although, just before the end of WWII, Harry Truman took over for Roosevelt when he died in (I think) April 1945.
