I've been working out fora while, and I've been seeing results but looking at my calfs from the front, they look so stumpy. From the side they look pretty good, but why do they look sostumpy? Its so depressing!

Also, how can I get those lean sexy thighs? And I think my butt is kinda big, how can I fix that too?

I can't do high impact stuff because my knees are crappy and I have patellofemoral syndrome (where my bones are scrapping) in one.

So how can I make my calfs shapely, thighs sexy and bum more perky? And how long will it take?

The best for your thighs is leg lifts, do them on your side and on your back. For your back side, position yourself on your knees if you're able with your bad knees, and kick your leg back up. I can't remember the name of this exercise, but it does wonders for you bottom. Now, for the calves; when I was a young girl I would sit on the floor with legs stretched out and bounced my calves (alternating) for about 20 minutes. Then I would flex my feet, toes pointed, back & forth; out and toward you. This really stretches the muscles in the calves. We had an ole German doctor and I asked him about these same questions you are asking. He advised me every night to lay on the floor next to my bed with my legs straight up paralell to my bed, and take a rolling pin and roll down. His comment was, "You're breaking up & rolling the fat tissue toward the bladder." Now, this was way back in 1962 and we didn't have all this modern technalogy. All I have to say, I did have shapely legs and a small buttom; I was 34-23-34 and 5'4'', but today is another story.
I hope you can understand these exercises, all I can say, they did work for me. I had three girls and I taught them the same exercises and they all had & still have shapely bodies.
Remember though, anything working for is worth it.
If you have any questions please let me know.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Do you wear heels a lot, like every day? That causes shortening of the calves. Wear flat shoes more and try walking on your heels when you're barefooted, as though you have heels under the ball of your foot. That stretches out your calf muscles. You can also try stretching for about fifteen minutes before and after you work out to elongate your muscles so they don't look bulky. The very best exercises for your thighs and butt is walking/running. Try a treadmill. It's low impact and good for all parts of your body.

Yep... bring the sexy back.

Do some cardio work as well but try squats and lunges for your thighs and butt. Mmmmmm perky butt... yum. 6 months.

HOT TIP 1
Take a picture or two before you start so you can prove to yourself that you are making good progress.

HOT TIP 2
Do pilates classes because you are going to need the stretches to recover from the stress you are placing on that sexy butt.

You have a classic condition that we refer to in the medical field as Cankles. Working out will probably not cure that If your tibia and fibula bones are large.
