It is pinching, usually the backside. Not usually appreciated unless it is done in fun with consent. Nothing like a real goosing which hurts and can draw blood. Geese can be as effective as a watchdog. When a goose stretches out it's neck and pecks you several times it usually lands about rear end level. May you never experience the real thing!

its usually poking someone, if done in person a finger pokes into another person's ribs, briefly
